New display at TMAG celebrating Tasmania JackJumpers

The Jackies: Marching into NBL26 continues until 9 November 2025. Admission is free.

The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) welcomed a visit from Tasmania JackJumpers coach Scott Roth, retired inaugural captain Clint Steindl and new import player Tyger Campbell to see The Jackies: Marching into NBL26 featuring the team’s 2023/24 NBL Championship trophy, team jerseys and the 2024 Intercontinental Cup bronze medal.

Recently opened at TMAG, The Jackies: Marching into NBL26 invites visitors to see a piece of Tasmania’s sporting history ahead of the upcoming NBL 2025/26 season and celebrate the JackJumpers’ remarkable journey from newcomers to national champions.

As the state’s leading cultural institution, TMAG is dedicated to sharing Tasmanian stories.

“We’re thrilled to share this part of Tasmania’s sporting story and celebrate how sport has helped shape our culture,” said Mary Mulcahy, TMAG Director.

The display in TMAG marks a proud moment for the JackJumpers.

“To be featured at TMAG means a lot to the club,” said Tasmania JackJumpers CEO Christine Finnegan. “It’s a reflection of how far we’ve come, not just as a team, but as a symbol of Tasmanian pride and is another great opportunity for the community to share in our story.”
