TMAG is a respected provider of workshops and professional enrichment opportunities for educators. These thematically-focused training and information sessions help professionals in the education and community service sectors to make the most of what the museum has to offer, and help to increase engagement with natural and cultural heritage.

Join the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery’s Education Team and start the year with an inspiring and creative professional development session, where you will:

*    Hear about the Hobart Current: Here exhibition from TMAG’s Head of Art, Dr Ash Kerr
*    Discover what TMAG has on offer in 2026 for educators and students
*    Engage in a hands-on creative activity that can be adapted to different classroom and learning environments
*    Relax and network with colleagues across a variety of educational settings

This professional development program is designed for educators across all year levels and subject areas. It aligns with the Australian Curriculum Critical and Creative Thinking general capability.
