Beaker Street Science Photography Prize Exhibition

Bond Store Basement

Explore the stunning collection of finalist photographs from the annual Beaker Street Science Photography Prize. The display is a celebration of science through the lens of Tasmanian photographs. Visitors are invited to vote for the People’s Choice Award.


CoLab Exhibition

Discover what happens when creativity and science collide. TMAG is excited to present Beaker Street’s CoLab - a thought-provoking exhibition featuring artworks by Year 9-12 students, inspired by real scientific research. For more information on the CoLab program click here.

This project is presented by Beaker Street, in partnership with Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. It is supported by the Fred P Archer Charitable Trust and the Commonwealth Government through the Department of Industry, Science and Resources.


TMAG After Dark

15 & 16 August 2025

See TMAG transform into a vibrant nocturnal hub, from illuminating architectural projections, to roaming musicians, to captivating exhibits and late-night galleries – this is the ultimate museum up-late experience. Chat with the TMAG natural science team, peer through microscopes, see fascinating demonstrations. Join us ‘After Dark’ and see TMAG in a whole new light!
