Catch a Tiger with your family!

To Catch a Tiger Family Day

Come along and join in a fun day of free activities for young children and their families inspired by James Newitt’s To Catch a Tiger installation, which explores the history and mythology of the Tasmanian Tiger (thylacine).

Activities on the day will include animal costume role-play, storytelling, drawing and puppet-making. There will be question and answers with a Parks and Wildlife Ranger about the thylacine and how it met its demise, as well as thylacine sightings in the gallery and free give-aways.

When: 10am-4.30pm, Sunday 5 February
Where: inside the To Catch a Tiger exhibition at TMAG

To Catch a Tiger is the third exhibition in TMAG’s Star/Dust series of contemporary art installations, and is presented with support from Detached Cultural Organisation.
