Last chance to Traverse Antarctica at TMAG

The National Archives of Australia exhibition Traversing Antarctica: the Australian experience has its last day at TMAG on Sunday 26 February before traversing the rest of Australia on its national tour.

If you haven’t already had the chance, come into the cold this weekend and see the stunning imagery and rare artefacts on display, including original equipment and diaries used by members of the 1911-14 Australasian Antarctic Expedition.

Also on Sunday 26th, drop in to the pARTicipate workshop between 1pm and 3pm. This month’s pARTicipate is ‘Picturing the Warm’ with Lynne Beck; and pARTicipants will investigate the contrasting approaches used to represent the cold in the Artists in Antarctica exhibition. BYO dry materials (or gold coin donation appreciated).
